1. To feel sad, depressed, dejected, or generally unwell. Usually used with mitigators or intensifiers, such as "a bit," "really," "rather," "so," etc. I got some bad news this morning, so I'm a bit down at the moment. You didn't do that poorly on the exam, don't be so down!
2. slang To be ready, willing, eager, accepting, or in agreement (to do something). A: "We're going for pizza later. You want in?" B: "Yeah, I'm down." I'm down to play a quick game of soccer if you are.
