As a leader of a major company, you sometimes have to make tough short-order decisions that have the potential to positively or negatively affect your employees. The diner keeps a short-order counter open throughout the night to serve the numerous truckers who pass by at all hours.
5. adjective Of or relating to a shorter-than-average season of episodes. Typically hyphenated and used before a noun. It has been common in the UK for many years now to have short-order series with six or so episodes, but this trends seems to be making its way into American television as well. The network announced a slew of various short-order shows meant to test different genres that audiences might like to watch.
