Of an advanced age in which one is no longer useful, skillful, or competitive in a particular activity, job, or role. I've met many women who wish to return to the workforce after raising their kids, but feel that they are too past it to find any meaningful employment. There just came a day when I realized I was past it, and that I could no longer perform my duties as the company required.
