1. To be crazy or irrational. He's out of his senses if he thinks this plan is going to work! After yet another sleepless night, I'm starting to feel like I'm out of my senses.
2. To be not fully conscious or coherent in thought. I've been a little out of my senses ever since I started taking these new painkillers. He drank so many shots of tequila that he was completely out of his senses by the end of the night.
