An initialism of "not to be confused with," used primarily in online communications to distinguish one person or thing from another. My favorite band of all time has to be Nickel Creek. (NTBCW Nickelback, of course!) A: "Can anyone on these forums tell me what kind of screwdriver bit I need for the picture I've posted?" B: "Looks like you'll need a Torx bit—NTBCW a hex bit."
