To be unwilling to miss seeing or experiencing something no matter what other things might get in the way. Don't worry, sweetie, I'll be there to see your performance tonight. I wouldn't miss it for the world. There's a big project that's coming up the same month I'm travelling to Paris, but hopefully my colleagues can handle it without me because I'm not missing this trip for the world!
