A crosshatch symbol (#), as used for the number sign or the hashtag in social media. A: "Why did you put a little mesh in front of the words in your comment on Facebook?" B: "That's the hashtag, Grandpa—it groups other posts together that tag the same word or phrase." Do me a favor and put a mesh in front of each of the numbers on the list. I just think it looks nicer.
