Regardless of whether you agree or are happy with that which is being discussed. A shortening of the full phrase "whether you like it or not." Like it or not, social media is becoming a permanent part of our day-to-day interactions. I know you don't agree with how she runs the classroom, but like it or not, she's your teacher, and you have to respect her rules.
