2. noun, informal Shoes made of soft, shiny, semi-transparent PVC plastic. Also known as "jelly shoes." Jellies were a huge fad in the '80s, but they've been making something of a comeback lately.
3. noun, slang Benzodiazepine tablets or capsules. At that point in my addiction, I was snorting coke to bring me up and then popping jellies to bring me back down.
