Used to express that someone wants to buy some given thing as soon as possible. Typically used in online communications. Popularized by and widely attributed to the animated television show Futurama. A: "Introducing, the new Y-Phone XZR30!" B: "I just bought the yPhone XZR29 a month ago, but I don't care—shut up and take my money!" A: "Did you see the trailer for the new Zelda game?" B: "Yeah, talk about 'shut up and take my money'!"
