geared toward (someone or something)

Designed to appeal to or be used by a particular audience, or to meet a particular objective. This class needs to be geared toward beginners so that the average person can keep up. I wish this sci-fi show was geared more toward female viewers. This system of planning is geared toward helping me achieve my goals for the year.
