cocker up

cocker up

To pamper or spoil someone, especially through overindulgence. A noun or pronoun can be used between "cocker" and "up." Well, judging by the way his parents have cockered him up his whole life, it's no wonder he can't handle failure like an adult. I don't want to cocker up my kids, but I don't want to be too hard on them, either.
