1. To be currently doing or involved in something. Hey, Bill? What are you up to right now? I could use a hand with something. I haven't really been up to much lately.
2. To be scheming or engaging in some mischievous behavior. I think those two are up to something—they've been acting suspicious all morning.
3. To be able or willing to (do something). She's still recovering from her surgery and isn't really up to having visitors.
