proverb A phrase of encouragement to keep trying or moving forward despite minor setbacks. I know you wish you did better on the test, but every slip is not a fall. Just keep working to bring your grade up as the semester goes on. We can't give up on the product just because its initial sales were a little disappointing. Every slip is not a fall!
