1. To talk to one in such a way that one is unable to understand or comprehend what is being said. It felt like the doctor was talking past me as he rattled off all the test results.
2. To speak in a way that ignores, excludes, or fails to engage with one. You just keep talking past me without addressing any of the issues I bring up!
