stick through (someone or something)

1. To push, poke, or pierce something through, between, or through into or something. In this usage, a noun or pronoun is used between "stick" and "through." The thief snuck up behind the man and stuck a knife through his ribs. The bully stuck a stick through Johnny's spokes as he rode by on his bicycle. If the office is closed, you can stick your completed application forms through the slot on the door.
2. To endure, tolerate, or continue something through to completion or the end of some point. I know you're eager to find a new job, but please just stick through the current project, or it will seriously hinder our progress. College has been a lot more challenging than I thought it would be, but I'm determined to stick through it to the end.
