(When) considered calmly and dispassionately, without the charge of emotions felt at the time that something happened. I was so angry at the time that I could barely talk to her. Seen in the cold light of day, though, I realize that she made some very valid points. Come on, this really isn't a big deal when seen in the cold light of day.
