A portmanteau of "situation comedy," referring to a humorous television (or other broadcast medium) program focusing on a regular cast of characters who are involved in various funny or unusual situations that form the basis of individual episodes. The new sitcom revolves around two twin sisters who share the same job by pretending to be the same person. The famous actor actually got his start in a sitcom for a kids' channel back in the 80s.
