The ability or power to draw people in, as by having particularly unique, interesting, famous, desirable, etc., qualities or characteristics. The restaurant has been capitalizing on the pulling power of its celebrity chef to drum up huge crowds in its opening week. The attraction, at one time, had enormous pulling power but is now regarded as little more than a tourist trap.
