1. To become calm, composed, or in control; to stop spazzing out. "Spaz" is short for "spastic" and may be considered offensive due to that originally having been a derogatory term for someone with spastic paralysis or cerebral palsy. Mom, you need to get a grip and spaz down. Has your brother spazzed down enough to tell us what happened?
2. To cause someone become relaxed, composed, or in control; to calm someone down. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "spaz" and "down." Potentially offensive. I offered him a cigarette and a stiff drink to help spaz him down. You need to spaz down your girlfriend, or she'll end up drawing the attention of the police.
