Suffering from, preoccupied by, or paralyzed with an intense and overwhelming feeling of insecurity (about something). I look back on my high school and college years with such regret. I wasted so much of my life back then being racked with insecurities when I should have been enjoying every minute of my youth. He's been racked with insecurity ever since his wife left him.
