on the pig's back

on the pig's back

In a position of ease, luxury, or good fortune. Primarily heard in Ireland. We found ourselves on the pig's back after our product gained such widespread success across the country. Everyone thinks I'm on the pig's back because I've appeared in a few films, but I'm actually not much better off than I was before I started acting.
