To be unable to successfully occupy or distract oneself, especially when experiencing boredom, anxiety, stress, or excitement. I was so nervous waiting for the doctor's call, I didn't know what to do with myself! The kids don't know what to do with themselves on rainy days like this when they can't go outside to play. I've been so excited about winning the award that I don't know what to do with myself. I just keep reading the email.
