Someone who cannot easily be fooled, swindled, or taken advantage of. He tried to convince her to sign up for the expensive upgrade, but my mother is no one's fool, and she could tell straight away that it was a scam. He may look a bit simple with his big round eyes and boyish features, but John is no one's fool.
