a night person

Someone who is more active and alert in the later hours of the evening than early in the day; someone who prefers to work or stay up late, typically avoiding being awake earl in the morning. I've always been a night person. I just find I can be so much more productive when there's no one else awake. I was a night person for most of my life, until the day I had kids, that is.
