People, especially men, who have a lot of influence, authority, and money, especially those in the top positions in a business or other organization. Professional soccer players get paid a lot, but it's a pittance compared to the amount of money they make the men in suits who control the league. We're lucky if we get a few hundred dollars at the end of the year as a bonus, while the men in suits walk away with enough to buy a new house.
