An initialism of "let me Google that for you."

1. Used sarcastically to indicate that the other person could have easily found the answer to their question by searching for it on Google (rather than bothering people in an online forum, message board, etc.). A: "So, should I use a 48V or 52V battery with this kind of motor?" B: "Gee, LMGTFY. Seriously, though, don't waste other people's time with questions like that."

2. A website that creates a URL link to an animated video demonstrating how a user could search for their question in Google or other similar Internet search engines. A: "Some noob keeps posting all sorts of basic questions in our forum." B: "Just send them a LMGTFY link and tell them to get lost."
