place trust in (someone or something)

To believe in, have faith in, or depend on someone or something. A possessive pronoun can be used between "place" and "trust." A majority of citizens have responded to our poll that they no longer place trust in the government's ability to manage the national debt. We're all placing our trust in you to resolve this problem as efficiently as possible.
