fasten (someone, something, or oneself) to (someone or something)
To attach or connect someone, something, or oneself to something else. Fasten that tile to the floor before someone trips on it. I fastened a name tag to my shirt and walked into the auditorium. Please use your seatbelt to fasten yourself to your seat before the ride begins.
