KISS rule

KISS rule

A phrase encouraging one not to overcomplicate something. "KISS" is an acronym for "Keep It Simple, Stupid." Think of the KISS rule when you're teaching—you don't want to confuse your students. A: "Don't you think we should offer a more elaborate explanation to our users?" B: "No, let's stick to the KISS rule."
