1. Very enthusiastically fond of someone or something. Teri is just mad about her new boyfriend and won't stop talking about him. Ever since she started taking lessons as a kid, Amy has been mad about tennis.
2. Upset or angry about something. I can tell Perry is mad about something, but he won't tell me what it is. Is Luanne still mad about me missing her recital?
