jerk out

To pull, yank, or lift someone or something out (of some place or thing) very quickly, abruptly, or forcefully. A noun or pronoun can be used between "jerk" and "out." Please tell me you didn't jerk that loose tooth out of your little brother's mouth. I jerked out my hand from under the couch when I felt something crawl across it. The teacher jerked the student out of her hiding place and brought her back to the classroom.
