have (one's) eyes glued to (something)

have (one's) eyes glued to (something)

To have all of one's attention focused solely on the thing one is looking at. I absolutely hate it when people eat at my house and have their eyes glued to their phones for the entire meal. I came back two hours later to find the kids still had their eyes glued to the television.
