I need a drink

I need a drink

Said when one is in a bad, overwhelming, or otherwise unpleasant situation. Often used humorously. The "drink" in question would be alcoholic. A: "And, on top of all that, school is canceled for the rest of the week, so the kids will be home with us." B: "Oh boy. I need a drink." I need a drink—I can't deal with this right now!
