get in (one's) face
To confront and provoke one, as in readiness to fight, berate, harass, or argue with them. As we left the court, reporters kept getting in my face to ask me if I was guilty. Some guy got in my face last night at the bar, so I socked him in the eye.

INFORMALIf someone gets in your face, they annoy you or act in an aggressive way towards you. Healey is a cocky little guy who likes to get in the face of an opponent. If they don't show commitment, I'll be the first one to get in their face and tell them how disappointed I am.
