fuck you, Jack, I'm all right

fuck you, Jack, I'm all right

rude A phrase used to indicate a self-centered and self-important attitude or mindset, especially one that is dismissive or disdainful of others. Sometimes hyphenated and used as a modifier before a noun. Originally used in the military. Primarily heard in UK. You try to ask anyone of a higher rank on this ship to help you, and all you get back is "Fuck you, Jack, I'm all right." This industry breeds a culture of showy, ostentatious displays of one's success, while also promoting fuck-you-Jack-I'm-all-right attitudes.
