DBEYR

DBEYR

An initialism of "don't believe everything you read," meaning you should not accept at face value all the information you read online or in print, as it is very easy for it to be inaccurate, misleading, or fabricated. Used primarily in online communications, such as forums, instant messaging, social media, etc. A: "You know, I read on a health blog that drinking fermented grass clippings will cure cancer!" B: "Um, OK, DBEYR, Jane." Sure, there are rumors about a sequel being in the works, but DBEYR!
