A humorous name for the act that occurs when a cell phone rings and multiple people begin searching and groping for their own phones. The "Macarena" was a popular group dance in the late 1990s. When someone's phone suddenly vibrating in the middle of the CEO's presentation, many people started doing the cellular Macarena.
