don't tread on me
don't tread on me
Don't harm or oppress me. The phrase is usually associated with a Revolutionary War flag (the Gadsden flag) emblazoned with this message and a picture of a coiled rattlesnake. The phrase "Don't tread on me" will forever be linked to the American Revolution, much like "Join or die"
