To fire one or more rounds of ammunition from a firearm by squeezing its trigger. A noun or pronoun can be sued between "squeeze" and "off." The officer squeezed off a shot before the suspect had a chance to put his hands in the air. They squeezed a few rounds off into the air to scare the crowd of people away.
