Alice noun- LSD US, 1972
A phonetic pun on the first two letters of LSD, influenced by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There (1871), which were considered inspirational works by the hippy subculture of the late 1960s.
