wolf down

To eat something very quickly or ravenously. A noun or pronoun can be used between "wolf" and "down." I hate the way he wolfs down his food at dinner so he can leave the table as quickly as possible. I don't have time for breakfast here, so I'll just wolf something down at the airport after I check in.
