walk your talk
walk your talk
To back up one's boastful talk with meaningful actions. (A compressed version of the largely American, "If you're going to talk the talk, you have to walk the walk," or, "You talk the talk, but can you walk your walk?" and other such iterations.) This consultant has sold us on some pretty radical ideas, but it remains to be seen whether he can walk his talk.
