alt-right

The "alternative right," an extremely conservative political movement in the US. (Conservative political groups are traditionally referred to as "the Right," while liberal groups are known as "the Left.") Many views of the alt-right are considered radical by other Americans.

alt-tab out

1. In Microsoft Windows, to switch from one's current window to another by pressing the keys ALT+TAB. (Sometimes written "alt+tab out.") Every time I try to alt-tab out of the game, the computer gets really laggy or crashes altogether.
2. In PC gaming, to switch unintentionally to a window other than that of one's current game. The game was alt-tabbing out whenever the mouse scrolls to my second monitor, so I've had to install software that disables that functionality during gameplay.
3. To cause a computer user to switch unintentionally from the window of their game to a different one. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "alt-tab" and "out." These blasted Windows notifications always alt+tab me out of CS:GO at the worst possible moments.
