The preferences or needs of someone else has no bearing on one's own life, so there is no point being judgmental of or bothered by them. A: "I was thinking of joining the circus. What do you think?" B: "It wouldn't be the way I would want to live my life, but what you eat doesn't make me fat, so I won't judge."
