1. What do I or we do now? What is the solution or next step? OK, I'm at the intersection you told me about—what now? Well, what now? We rebooted the system, but we're still not getting any signal.
2. What new problem has presented itself now? "Oh, what now?" she muttered aloud when the alarm sounded for a third time.
3. What is it that you are annoying me about now? A: "Daddy?" B: "What now? Can't you see that I'm trying to do work, Tammy?"
