slang To vomit, especially violently or in great amount. Primarily heard in US. With the way that boat was rocking back and forth, I felt like I was going to toss my cookies over the side at any minute.

Vomit, as in A roller-coaster ride may make her toss her cookies. This slangy euphemism dates from the first half of the 1900s.
