1. Romantically infatuated or enamored with one. I know Jamie is wild about the new man she's been dating. We used to be wild for each other, but these days we feel more like roommates than a couple.
2. Very fond of one. A: "I don't think your dad likes me." B: "No, not at all, he's wild about you! He just has a hard time showing affection."
