world without end

For ever and ever; until the end of time. This unusual wording is taken from the King James translation of the phrase in saecula saeculorum. I vowed to love him world without end. The only part of the hymn I can remember goes, "As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen."

Glen Soderholm, a singer/songwriter and Presbyterian minister based in the southwestern Ontario town of Rockwood; has released his fourth CD, World Without End. The new recording features six original songs and six hymns that capture the seasons of worship.
Of particular importance is chapter 10, "World without End. Amen," which describes the thinking and behavior surrounding Christian death from the perspective of the laity (largely uncharted territory).
