sysop

A portmanteau of "system operator," referring to someone who manages or moderates a multi-computer system, especially online forums and virtual communities. I've been working as the sysop on a weightlifting forum for the past two years. We've asked the sysop to block the IP address of anyone posting spam messages.

You can leave a private message to a particular named person, or public message for anyone to read, or a message to the SYSOP (system operator).
